Foods for a healthy mouth

    The art of chewing is good for your teeth.Saliva contains a whole range of anti microbial and antifungal compounds which prevents infections.
    Good safe snacks which will not harm your teeth are raw vegetables,fruits,yogurt,nuts,sunflower or pumpkin seeds and rusk.The sugar they contain is not as easily metabolized into acid.
    Sugarless gums are good as they stimulate saliva flow.
    Cheese is good as it has high pH which neutralizes acid.
    Cranberries are good as they contain properties which are beneficial in treating cavities.

    Good tips. We should add a foot note. For healthy mouth and teeth - don't forget to brush and floss twice daily.

    friends,
    my husband is having a severe problem. Daily morning, his tongue gets lot of fungus deposited in his tongue... and he needs tongue cleaner for atleast 10 mins to clean that out... its happening daily.... I'm worried and I couldn't get proper answer from the Dr as well.

    Need your suggestion please.
