    Kefir! (It’s pronounced kuh-FEER.)

    ➡ Kefir is a fermented product that some experts think has even MORE benefits than yogurt. And because it has a thinner, more liquid consistency, it’s perfect for healthy drinks.


    Kefir is filled with protein and gut-friendly probiotics (more than yogurt).


    It’s good for your bones and researchers say it has anti-cancer properties, can help ease asthma and allergies, and because it’s low in lactose, it can be easier to digest than other dairy products.


    As with yogurt, it’s best to go with a plain variety and add your own “extras” to avoid too much added sugar. Note: Some brands can have a little more of a “tangy” taste than yogurt.


    ‍Try whirring it up in a blender with some greens, frozen berries, and almonds for a delicious smoothie!
