hi all what food did u all give to kids less than 2 year old in flight. thst too during that 20 hr jouney to india.. i m travellng this sunday. thnx n advance san
Hey Sanravi, One of my visits to India, my DD was a little over 2. It was a breeze for me as my kid is not a picky-eater and likes to eat variety of food. My kid ate the pasta, bread, fruits, that was provided on the flight. I gave her good amount of milk and juice too. I made sure I had fed her well before we boarded so that she could take a good nap. My kid had slept half her way. I had also stocked up al little on healthy food for her from teh restuarants in the airports as a 'just-in-case'. Hope your trip goes well.
You can carry on bottles of baby food, instant cereals, there is juice on the plane, milk, ..... its 20 hours the kid can only eat so much. Also most little kids fall asleep as soon as the plane gets airborn. TSA: Important Information on Traveling With Formula, Breast Milk, and Juice
When I took my first one on his first trip to India (just under 2), I carried cheerios, nutrigrain cereal bars, some horizon milk, gerber juice and some Stage 3 baby food jars, just in case. My son is a very picky eater. During the flight he ate mostly bread, pasta, yogurt, fruit etc.
thanks tashidelek gr8 information.. my one question?? ready to use enfamil formula and gerber sealed food are allowed but can i take like 3 of each in ziploc and keep it out for inspection ,,?? coz it will be around 12 oz of formula in total of 3 bottles sealed.???website says not more then 3 oz then it says reasonable amt.
Neha: I don't know. If it was me I would take the three and toss as they require if its an issue. As a backup I would take enough of the formula powder to mix on the plane with bottled water. What do you think?
yeah i m doing tat lots of packet formula,,but i will hate to throw gerber food..and what about tylenol or diaper cream..??thanks alot n alot.
