    Yes my SIL also follows.....her MIL is still 45 hence she is in her menopause and gets it once in 15 days so that my SIL sloughs more!!!
    But in their house as the Sofa is rexin, which is considered "Period-Proof", hence chum-ladies are allowed to sit on the sofa!
    And yes i was aware my ILs are traditional people....but did not know they are full of blind beliefs!!

    NOTE: MY MAID IS GIVEN 4 DAYS OFF EVERY MONTH DURING HER PERIODS!!! :cool2: Bumper offer for the kaamwaali!!!

    I even Pray during my periods.My mom didn't stop me and I would never let my mil to stop me if she tried.Believe me...God has been quite happy with me .

    Will direct maids to your home, super offer, these are not traditional these are atrocious. First, your mil must be sold in inlaws for sale as she seems to be the very old lady with weird practices that cause harm to people, atleast others speaks and let the dil's off the battle to rest but your lady seems to practice it every single month as we get chums thru out our 35years of cycle.

    Your mil must have married a 55-60 year old woman to her son who would be period proof so that she need not worry about napkins, touching people or things...

    I am going to place that demand before DH during my next chums :rotfl
    It never struck me all these days!!!

    My partly-following-more-rational mom had white color beautiful plastic curtains all over in my maternal home till me and my little sis moved to hostel :D :D :D
    I am going to apply that also to my weekday home as well!!

    @God2014....MIL IS 49...SOON TO BE 50.....!!!
    She had a menopause at 30 yrs of age and no much complications either....
    lucky woman!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Menopause at 30.. Are you joking...:eek:mg:.. Since birth her cycles started or what..:eek:mg:.. This can never happen in history of medicine, never heard also...shakehead

    Googling it up to find if such cases do exist
