Charral --That was a million dollar question---ha ha ---Actually I learnt from experience--till then i went on breaking needles and getting irritated.
What you do is fold the cloth you want to put inside perfectly[not like i have done--because i am not so physically able now]---after folding the cloth, stitch it around so that the folds doesn't slip--and machine it diaoginally--throughout--in lines.
Now take th outer sturdy cloth--and cut it 2" bigger. Then machine around it ,keeping one side open, like a bag---turn the outer cloth inside out, now again stitch the outer edge1/2 or 1/4 "---along the edge.
next take the open portion of the bag-like and stitch a hem around the open portion----fill in the inside cloth---carefully and perfectly----- pin it around and in lot of places in center---now close the outer hem, of the bag-like. and now remove the cloth gripper --and try to machine it---first diagonal---and then straight lines around---till it feels set.
then put the gripper back--add design on it--embroidery stitches--or cloth stickers and stitch it,
sorry never explained before I know it is haphazard-- but i think it is understandable.:cheers:cheers
