    Hi Friends,
I tried painting for the first time in life(Note: I was below average in drawing classes in school) with the help of various sites, youtube and old threads in IL.Please see my reverse glass painting..
    IL Painters, pls suggest improvements

I have used this design shared by ILite Tumtuma3 in one of her old threads.

I can see the following improvement areas in my painting
Color combination is wrong in the skirt of the lady(its become too dark in my paitning)
Also i missed the sharp curve in the lady's face.
Since I didnot know how to paint using a brush, the painted surface was not smooth,It contains so many bumps and I don't know whether this is something to do with the consistency of paint. But the painting escaped from damage, since its a reverse glass painting:)

Smile a good attempt !! Now you know the areas of improvement..One suggestion when you do reverse glass painting (my way of doing it) I use the outliner on the correct side and the paints on the reverse...By doing this the outliner does not get smudged when the paints are applied...!! I assure that it is simpler and the outcome will be great !! Keep doing more works...so you can improve...

Thanks shubag..Many thanks for your tip:thankyou2:...I will try that next time..One doubt, if the outliner is applied on the other side, will the paint flow outside the boundaries?

One more doubt Shubag..I am using acrylic paint, which has ointment like consistency(used in the picture of lady)..For back ground, i used another barand paint which has little more than water consistency.Should I dilute the paint used for lady using water?

It is great and tell me how long it takes to complete one painting?
I heard that it will take hours to dry. is it true?

    Hi Jaya,
It only took 24 hrs in total from beginning till framed...May be something to do with the type of paint you are using...
