    Dear Cokela,

Sorry for the delay in replying. I have tried to answer your questions:
    1) This is my first entry to UK. How much money do I need to cary for survival?
Answer: Welcome to the UK. About the money part I can give you a rough idea coz it all depends on your lifestyle and preference: if you stay in shared apartment it ranges from 80 GBP per week to 150 GBP per week including all bills. if you dont eat out then tea, food items (flour, pulses, rice, fruits, vegetables etc) would cost you 30 - 35 GBP per week. ASDA, Morrison are the stores where you can get grocery, asian foods, milk, tea everything you need at reasonable prices) so make sure your accomodation is near such stores.....
Then you will travel also by tube (train) for your job interviews etc. I really cant say about travelling but someone on this forum will help u withis.
I dont think there are any other expenses apart from the miscellaneous ones for which keep 30-35 GBP per week aside.
That makes: 150+35+35 = 220GBP per week at the maximum. again this is just a rough idea that i have given you based on my personal experience.

You have a good experience also you have worked in US so I think you wont have difficulty in finding the job. Sorry I cant tell how much time it will take to get a job...but i m sure your skills, experience can help u get a job in few weeks to few months...

    Hope this helps....
    Thanks
    Asha
