First morning urine sample

hello ladies,

I have come across this post accidentally..but after reading this I realized that UTI is very common during pregnancy.....I had two miscarriages last year and both the times I had UTI, is UTI a reason for a miscarriage. My doc says not to worry but my DH is very worried that UTI could be one of the causes. could you throw some light n this and how to avoid UTI during pregnancy..I know drinking cranberry juice helps....but its loads of sugar and I don't want so much sugar during my pregnancy
