    Hi ladies,

I am in my third month after my c-section. Doing good health wise and able to do all the house hold work too. I get back pain only when I work too much all through day but its tolerable. These days I am feeling finger joints pain....at night it is severe . Is it because of tiredness ?

I lift my son from swing or bed its the fingers which we put so is it that more weight is being put on them and so they are paining? Ladies throw on ur suggestions and experiences pls....

    Hi Ampu,

Hope your baby is doing fine.

I dont really think that lifting the baby is the cause of finger joint pain. It can cause back pain due to continuous lifting and the way you hold your baby, but finger joint pain....havent heard about this.

It may be caused by something else. If it is so severe, better see a doctor.

    Love, Riya

I used to have pain on the base of my wrist - thumb joint during pregnancy. I consulted my orthopedist and he said it could be because of the hormones. I didn't have pain after the delivery.

It could be because of lifting the car seat etc. Do consult a good orthopedist.
