    Dear friends,

Our Finest Narration for the month of October is one that brings to mind only positive words such as motivation, insight, vision, stimulation, creativity, enthusiasm, spark….and many such!

This post also reminds us of the Hero that we have all known in one form or the other. In her beautiful song “Hero” Mariah Carey says -

"There's a hero, If you look inside your heart,
You don't have to be afraid Of what you are,
There's an answer If you reach into your soul.."

Aren’t the lines above so very true?"

Our winner for the Finest Narration indeed seems to be the Hero Mariah Cary sang about in the above song. Our winner has proved that a positive and winning attitude, determination to not lay low under the burden of prejudices coupled with the courage to dig through the layers within and let the “YOU” emerge, are the signs of a true Hero - a Hero that people aspire to be and one that people get inspired from.

The winner for the Finest Narration is –
Can a HOUSEWIFE be inspiration/role model to others?? - By Abc00

Being happy and content in life is every person’s dream. But only a few know how to make this dream come true. Abc is one of those rare people and we are lucky that she has shared her secret here with us.

Her post was inspirational and charged with heavy doses of positive attitude, something that is sure to rub off of anyone reading this post. This post also brought about a healthy discussion about the two sides of the same coin – the working outside and the working at home woman. THANK YOU Abc for leading us with a positive example in the form of "you" and for opening a thread that brought about such good discussion and view points!

Our Finest Contribution for this month is an artist who has helped many in IL turn stylish with her generous sharing for her art, stitching. Her posts are provide the exact set of instructions given in the form of detailed and precise diagrams such that even a person with not-so-great stitching skills can follow.

The winner for Finest Narration goes to -
Preparation of "Bias bag " for Cutting chudidar - By ArtVani.

ArtVani’s desire to truly help her fellow ILites with this not-so-easy art of stitching is truly commendable. The winning post is just an example of her thorough posts. Her many superb contributions in the Sewing/Tailoring/Stitching sub-forum of the Hobbies,Arts,Crafts forum are a testimony to her super helpful nature.

Through this win we want to acknowledge the wonderful service ArtVani is giving to our fellow ILites who are interested in learning and mastering this art. Her methodical approach and the pictorial view in her posts explaining how to measure and draft and demonstrate to us what the final layout looks like, is really impressive. Kudos ArtVani for your efforts!

Abc and ArtVani please send your mailing addresses to support@indusladies.com to claim your prize!

    Dear friends,

It may seem like thanking you has become customary. Yes, it sure has, but everytime we do it we feel we don't do it as often as we'd like to! What you give us in the form of your posts in IL and nominations in the FP is something that we cannot ever thank you enough for!!

All I'd like to say is, please keep giving us more and more opportunities to thank you!

    THANK YOU!

    Dear abc00 and dear ArtVani,

    CONGRATULATION!!!!!!!!!!

Abc00, your post has been an immense source of encouragement and a source of joy to many women who have found themselves in similar situation. Reading what you have to say and also from the many feedbacks you have received, the old proverb--Happiness Is You--is once again proven without doubt.

ArtVani, without wasting words, you have laid your craft bare so that many of us, especially those living in places where 'made to measure' costs a fortune can profit and learn without sweat.

Thanks to both of you for sharing your thoughts and crafts so generously. You are Winners indeed.

    Dear friends,

Each month, the nominated posts provide a lot of pleasure to us and for all those who follow and read them. Not only for the narration style, it is also for the ideas they share. Slowly but surely, we are learning and gaining from the many posts of our members.

As usual, SoaringSpirit and I have an enormous trouble to pick the winners out as all of them are winners anyways from the day they have been nominated. Several posts have had multiple nominations and who can question their winning qualities? Yet, we try to bring to you the posts which holds some new nuance and also gives exposure to some lesser visited forums so that we become more aware of all venues open to us in Indusladies.

There are many posts which narrowly missed becoming winners. But hey, there is always the next time, remember!:)

Well, here's wishing for another exciting month of nominations. Look forward to seeing all of you and more new IL'ites in our FP forum.

    L, Kamla
