She raises a wonderful point, what will the children do for their parents, to secure their old age, after they have given all their to the kids.

Super stuff, and set me and others thibnking, how right she is.

Instead of asking her to adopt one, You can present her a Dog. Even lot of people told us to adopt a dog after Jackie's demise. We didint. One day, Our family friend gifted a pup. And the pup enlightened our home back.

I think she (shel_28) has given a very good suggestion for the person in need.
