I totally agree with you Amulet and Viswa. This is an amazing list of to-dos for most women. It's just that somehow I have never alluded to this as 'self-love'. I just refer to this as 'being myself' and 'doing my own thing'. Sandy has so rightly stated that the world treats you the way you treat yourself. Point to be noted.

Just noticed I had missed this nomination. Sorry about that. It is an amazingly heart-warming response from Gauri. The things kids say at the most unexpected moments can be so totally disarming (when it is not embarassing as it does happen sometimes! ). The purity and innocence of their responses can just sweep one off one's feet. And hats off to those parents and adults around who take note, realize the depth of those little pieces of wisdom out of the mouths of babes and infants and try to adapt it in one's own journey of life!
