    Dear Friends,

The month of March kickstarts with Holi - the festival of colors. But naturally, we expect that some of that color, excitement, festivity and goodwill will spill into the FP too!

We are indeed looking forward to a colorful month in the FP.

As always we have two categories that you can nominate in - Finest Narration and Finest Contribution.

Bring you favorites to the FP and let us all enjoy them together!

    Luv,
    Kamla and SS

To familiarize yourselves with FP and its nominating process, please check this link below:
    Finest Posts of IL

Each member is allowed to nominate up to 4 posts only.
This ensures that each of us have a hand in deciding the winning post as we will filter our choice more closely, thus making the winner more significant.

The nominations will be closed on the 26th of every month. Simultaneously, the nomination thread for the following month will be opened.

In case of nominating FBs, please remember to add a link to the FB and not to the original post.

The following gives step-wise instructions on adding links to your nominations –

    - To a link to the original post that you are nominating :
How do I add a "Link" in my message?

    - To add a link to the FB that you are nominating :
How do I create a link to an existing message posted in IL?

    Hello,

I would like to nominate to :

    http://www.indusladies.com/forums/1073688-post1.html

Its not for the hand work that is done. I was imagining the happiness that the old Grandma would get when her grand daughter(OP) reads out all the comments :) !!! I wanted to bring out the kind of role that Indus Ladies plays. Giving such a feeling for a person at old age is not that easy. Even if every one around her, appreciate her, the number of people is definitely low when compared to the comments received at Indus Ladies :thumbsup. So the Grand mom is doubly lucky for all her near and dear ones plus the nice people in the outside world(IL) !!!

    Dear soldier,
I jumped in joy ( thanks to the strong foundation)when Kamala in my post mentioned that my post has been nominated. I was wonder struck. Who did this? Now I came to know it is my buddy Soldier . Thank you dear for understanding the post correctly and nominating it. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Dear Moderators I would like to nominate Shail Raghuvansh's What happens when a religious leader goes haywire?Zor the March FP. It is a very relevant write up in an age where blind faith still rules despite tremendous scientific and economic progress.

I hurried here to nominate Sahil Raghuvansh's post about Godmen gone haywire, but notice that it has already been nominated ! So I second that .
Shail 's article is well written, well argued and succinct, besides being topical and casting a critical eye at one of the most deplorable ills that plague our society , superstition and blind faith.

    Dear Greenplanet,

Sorry for getting here late! Somehow, I have missed noting this nomination which actually opened our March thread for nominatons.

By nominating Tubelight's http://www.indusladies.com/forums/snippets-of-life-non-fiction/87168-the-post-that-wasnt.html, you surely have thrown a bright beam over the new thread.

Thanks for bringing the post here promptly.

    L, Kamla
