Sometimes you realize others have already done it and done it much better. Trying to write something profound about parenting or nature, I instead found these beautiful quotes from good ole google tatha, some funny, some inspirational: “If evolution works, how come mothers only have two hands?” “The quickest way for a parent to get a child’s attention is to sit down and look comfortable” “Both of us can’t look good at the same time; it’s me or the house.” “They say it takes a village. Where can I get directions to this village?” “A parent’s love is whole no matter how many times divided.” “A mother understands what a child does not say.” And then these from our own IL: ... a beautiful moment that we didn’t even want to capture in our camera coz we knew even if we tried, we could never forget or erase that memory since its etched so permanently and perfectly in our brains. As outsiders, my husband and I were all in for adopting, petting it, feeding it, and taking care of it. But they say parents know best right. Well, nothing beats that saying. The father spoke for a good half hour and this time, through the night, he stayed right beside his child and in the morning, we saw an empty nest. … the mother and father doing their duty by their kids. Never over-doing anything, just doing the right thing, at the right time for their kids. The Winner of the Finest Post Award is @beautifullife30 for the snippet: Life's Just A Beautiful Thing! Yes indeed, life’s just a beautiful thing and so is the snippet on life by @beautifullife30 Ruskin Bond once said about his writing, "I won't usually just sit down to write. I'd have done it in my head already. I visualize a story just like a film strip running in my head. I guess that is also a reason why my books have such a visual element to them." The same can be said of this lovely snippet by @beautifullife30 - it has a certain visual element that makes us feel like we are there in person beholding the fledgling sparrows taking their first flights. Thank you @iyerviji and @Thyagarajan for nominating and seconding the winning post. And thank you all for the participation. .
