In the quiet of our everyday lives, it is often the smallest moments of love and resilience that touch us the most. These are the moments that remind us of the bonds that shape us, strengthen us, and give meaning to each step we take. I am glad I returned from my break in time to read an incredibly touching piece. One that beautifully illustrated such moments — moments of love, devotion, and selflessness that shine brightest even in life’s most challenging hours. The Winner of the Finest Post Award is @Sweety2016 for the snippet: Mom, I Love You A moving narrative of a daughter helping her parents through her father's surgery, witnessing her mother’s steadfast love and dedication. Through shared laughter, tender moments, and thoughtful gestures, this story beautifully illustrates the strength of family and the quiet sacrifices made in the name of love. Congratulations to @Sweety2016 and our heartfelt thanks for taking the time to write and share such a beautiful piece with us. We also extend our deepest gratitude to our dearest @iyerviji and Thyagu @Thyagarajan for nominating posts! May this Diwali bring you closer to your loved ones and fill your life with endless happiness and prosperity. Here’s to new beginnings and cherished memories! .
My daughter's and grandchildren are my greatest admirers. They applaud everything I say or do making me feel that I am God's gift to mankind. Last month, when I was handling the Finest Post activity, I was greeted with similar kind of enthusiasm by the members here. Growing old, I tell you, is bliss! When I read the winner announcement of Rihana, I heaved a sigh of ecstatic relief that she is back in action! I can never do it the way Rihana handles FP announcements or for that matter even the way she responds to nominations. Thank you Rihana
Thank you Mr. C. It's good to be back. Feels like home. Which reminds me of a funny saying - Home wasn't built in a day. : ) It was natural to write this month's announcement. Just like the mom in the snippet stopped and bought eggs and carrots from a shop, someone stopped on their way to somewhere and picked up sugar cane for me. : )
@Sweety2016 Hearty congratulations to you on being awarded the Finest Post Winner of the month! You have made me feel again that daughters are truly special I have two of them who have been smothering me with their love for over 50 years!
Congratulations @Sweety2016 . Glad my nominated post got award All the best to reach great heights in life
Congratulations @Sweety2016 for winning the finest of the month of October 2024. Your snippet was such a great read. Last weekend, I watched "Meiyazhagan", a Tamil movie acted by Aravind Swamy and Karthi as primary actors, produced by Surya and Jyothika, and directed by C. Prem Kumar. This movie taught me how love overcomes everything in this world. I have never seen such a touching me taken in a village for a long long time.
