Last month, there were many writings on managing life's challenges, and one piece really stood out. It’s the kind of writing that feels like looking into a mirror—one that reflects your own challenges, yet also offers hope and practical guidance for making positive changes. Women often know they need to make time for themselves, but actually doing so is a skill that takes time to master. Even during moments that are meant to be for self-care, like sitting at the salon for a haircut or facial, many find themselves thinking about tasks at home and managing things via phone. True self-care is about letting both the mind and body relax. Now, to create that space, women often have to say "No," to family members, which is another skill that requires practice and a kind approach. I had to really master this skill of saying "No" (or reminding in a gentle way). I realized the importance of this when I saw what my children had saved me as in their phones. Tips on these skills were part of this month's winning post! The Winner of the Finest Post Award is @SGBV for the snippet: 2024: A Year Of Transformation Thank you, @SGBV, for sharing your perspective on how you navigated 2024. @Rihana Making time for oneself is a skill that takes time to master. I am fascinated by this observation of yours! That's 'time' skillfully handled! I have always wondered what would a woman be doing when she is covered by fascial paste with two cucumber pieces stuck in her eyes. Now I know I have to wait for another month to read the next winner announcement from you!
