    Rihana,
Sometimes short posts say more than pages of information. @SunPa has shared a few note worthy thoughts in such a short but impactful note here Clothes During Periods ?

So important to keep in mind, especially in today’s world filled with TikTok, Snapchat and whatnot!
Our circumstances are different and so should our mindsets!

Makes so much of sense. Raising young women is such a challenge as it is. Why add additional layers of unwanted practices to the mix.

I’d like to nominate @SunPa for FP.

    Rihana,
I still remember those baby days. Especially those sleepless nights. I had so many fights with the DH. I questioned our compatibility so much. I even had so many issues with Amma who had come all the way to take care of me. I wish I had someone like @MalStrom to explain things to me.

So true. I’ve only fought with my mom postpartum and now looking back, it feels simply silly.
    This is so true.

I would love to nominate @MalStrom for her post Parental Support During Child Birth for FP!

@iyerviji Viji Jaan, thank you for all the nominations. I am sorry for the delay in responding. I have many excuses, each one as lame as the other. : )
A timely snippet by @meenasankaran as we approach election day in the U.S.
Our Republic - Is It Regular Or The Banana Kind?

It raises many important points, in a remarkably short write-up and leaves us with the reminder that the least, adn sometimes, the most, we can do it cast our vote.
One more snippet from @HariLakhera that only Hari ji can come up with.
Advantages Of Staying At The Bottom In Social Hierarchy
Yes, indeed there can be advantages to being at the bottom of the social hierarchy, even if some of the advantages are very temporary and ephemeral in nature.

Response by @winterhue in the thread Mil-my Child Problem
Straight-forward and excellent response to a woman-made problem. When I read the response, I remember wishing that winterhue posted more often and not only when mother nature's hues are turning golden in autumn. : )

Response by @DDream in Staying Married For The Kids: Your Story Please
OP in the thread has raised many questions to which there are no easy answers. @DDream has analyzed the questions in a balanced way:
If there is abuse, adultry, or addiction( AAA), never stay in that marriage. It wont be good for anyone. Two happy homes are better than one unhappy home in that case.

If not, decision of staying or leaving should done by being practical, not emotional. It also depends on many factors and location, the legal rules , custody issues , availability of support, finances etc..
Thank you @Thyagarajan and @iyerviji for nominating and seconding this post.

Thank you for the nominations, Laks. Both @SunPa and @MalStrom rarely write longer posts. But in the few short sentences they manage to include pragmatism and a tactful respect for the older generation and values from the past.
Response by @SunPa in Clothes During Periods ?
"Let's stop implanting these period taboo thoughts in the next generation atleast", SunPa wrote there. Truth be told, it took some discipline and awareness on my part to make this a totally casual not-taboo topic in my household. It is so ingrained in us to whisper about it or talk in code. SunPa's posts has basic reminders that mothers would do well to keep in mind.

Response by @MalStrom in Parental Support During Child Birth
We were out for dinner earlier today and saw a man holding a baby and walking between tables. The baby was no more than three weeks old. I was reminded of this nominated post and our own times as new parents -- the sheer rawness and lack of logic when we used to argue while sleep-deprived. "Why didn't you put more diaper cream, there'll be a rash by morning!" "Why did you switch on all the lights so bright, now baby is fully awake, will you put her back to sleep?"

@MalStrom has suggested practical steps for the overwhelmed new mother there, acknowledging the tiredness of new parents while cautioning against turning it into a confrontation with parents.
