For me, and I am sure for many of us here, any post by our dearest @iyerviji is worthy of nomination for FP. @Caide, it was interesting to read your interpretation of the post and how you apply it to marriage decades later. A fine post leads to a fine response. Thank you @iyerviji for nominating this response by @Caide: Marriage Lessons Learnt In Life To read your narration, brings a calm to the mind, Caide and renewed hope to the heart. God bless. May this innocence and unique outlook that you have on life always remain with you.
Behenji thanks from bottom of my heart. Handsome summing up about young-beautiful-spouse balancing. Jumroo = The meaning of the given name Jhumroo represents innovation, independence, determination, courage, sincerity and activity. Advertisement. When I hired and stayed as subtenant ground floor in Karol Bagh theraw bota sathyeez the stout podgy Sikh lady was enjoying our plight in December near freezing them and she in sarcasm looking at my spouse (1976) was dancing & singing “ tandi tandi paneesay nahana chaiyeeyay “. Thanks for nostalgia. Regards.
Thank you Laks for bringing a post with an essential lesson to FP. Beware Of Scams by @sunnysideup After having given countless lectures to my kids about staying safe, not giving out information just like that, yada yada.. I fell for the most common WhatsApp scam: Beware of this WhatsApp Verification Code Scam I did all the needful afterwards - enabling two factor authentication and such. But I glossed over what really happened when explaining to family. So, I really appreciate and admire how sunnysideup has listed her experience and the lessons learnt.
Viji Jaan, thank you for nominating two fine posts by @beautifullife30. Three posts in three separate threads by @beautifullife30 have been nominated! That number speaks for itself. When Mom Puts You Down by @beautifullife30 IL's Relationship forum would have us believe the most complicated relationship is the MIL-DIL one. No. The mother-daughter relationship can be even more of a puzzle, both to the two of them and to those around them. beautifullife's from the heart writing shows us how this can vex the daughter yet a new day brings a new perspective and life goes on after venting and feeling lighter. Letting It Go.... by @beautifullife30 Philosophers and sages have written entire books on letting it go. It can be so simple to say and so hard to follow. On reading the snippet, I was struck by how the thoughts and emotions are vividly described - we feel we traveled in the hot sun with OP there and were there in person. Dealings with relatives can get so complicated ... oh so complicated. The "letting it go" in such matters is one of the toughest of life's "letting it go's"!
My pyari Rihana My next nomination is @MalStrom's reply to @abc00's post Have You Met A Woman Stronger Than You ?
What a lovely nomination with which to wrap up the month's nominations! Thank you Viji dear. Response by @MalStrom in Have You Met A Woman Stronger Than You ? Nelson Mandela said: "I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.” I would guess that over 80% of domestic helpers in India deal with challenges beyond poverty. Yet they summon courage and get through each day. It felt so darned good to read this in @MalStrom's post: "She lived to see her grandson married and well-settled. The boy was able to achieve his dream of buying a house and car while his grandmother was there to see it."
