I'd like to nominate this response by @NOW How To Be Emotionally Strong? How To Improve Eq? Six crisp points and this summary: "... it is not what kind of experiences or life you have had but rather it is about what can you learn from those experiences and become better version of yourself."
My dear Anna My next nomination is [US ER=278530]@shama146[/USER] ' s post Do's And Don'ts Of Married Life
I don’t have any nominations but I wanted to say I’ve begun looking here first so that I don’t miss any good posts! The official nominators are doing a fantastic job on bringing so many good posts to our attention. They are inspiring the rest of us to nominate as well. Thank you @Rihana, @iyerviji and @Viswamitra. Love all your picks!
@Laks09, Thank you for your kind words of recognition to the nominators. All three of us always wanted to open up the nomination for all of the members and I personally was very happy to see so many nominations last month when Cheeniya Sir opened it up for everyone. Acknowledging an important contribution of a fellow ILite provides a great sense of fulfillment. I hope more members will feel that fulfillment and continue to nominate more and more of what ILites contribute in this wonderful forum. Three nominators never felt the pressure to find our allotted quote every month and in fact, as the end of the month approached, we were deciding which one of what we selected should be nominated as many members were pouring in good contributions. I only would like to emphasize that a) contributing something valuable in a original post, b) responding with an excellent idea to the original post, and c) nominating an original post or a response in the finest post section provide a same sense of fulfillment. Nominating a post here is equivalent to giving 100 likes to a contribution. By nominating a post, we make more ILites read the contribution which itself is a reward for the contributor. There are so many ILites who make invaluable contributions here in IL. A flower doesn't have to be hunted down and the smell announces its arrival to everyone. The best contributions announce itself and when the members visit IL, they can easily find them and place them in finest post section. Even 10% of their effort in IL is contributed for nominations, this community will continue to grow and thrive. The habit of finding and encouraging the best contributions in IL would spread the monthly award across many contributors here in IL.
