Thats a wonderful advice Roar! Xoxo
I would love to have a samba carnival hat of my own
Congratulations on your new job, @WannabValerie! I hope thiings work out well for you.
Sounds more like mine
Omg.. I hear you totally and feel ur pain. That addictive disorder for parents by pleasing them itself is a disease, trying to make them happy and not knowing what his family is going through. I am in similar relationship where his folks come first then my kids and me later. Sucks!!
Before I say anything else, FOUR FLATS!!1111oneoneone
I in my whole life can never invest in more than one flat that too to live. FOUR FLATS IN 10 YEARS! ALL PAID FOR! You m'aam are rocking!
Now lawyer and get ya money back!
@AmulB Taking care of people isn't bad par se but paying for adult parents and other adults from his own children's pockets has what made me resent his care towards them.
I see you are in similar space; come to terms with it, accept many things, then the motivation will guide you.
As long as you cling to the why... nothing ain't changing ...ever. Good luck .
@MrCroc.. firstly you forgot the last 'one'..
Secondly...me rocking?.. nah. I am just keeping things afloat. Someone else has been rocking all this time.
Anyway...lessons learnt... moving forward, hoping to actually rock... If you are implying personal properties( like in a person and not as a family), it will take time for me to be on the property ladder on personal savings and own a fully paid up property, so yeah cheers to all of us who are trying to get on or ladder up. I am in slowly but surely minded right now.
I have decided not to lawyer it, not sure if I sound a wuss but I decided to be one anyway. I won't be able to go thru all the mental hustle. I have kind of found my small piece of peace in taking few things in my hands.
But thanks for that persuasive post... will use it on my way .
Yes I agree what you are saying. Many times it will be too late by the time we realize the facts to act on them. And had we known what’s coming we can be prepared act accordingly Isn’t it. But how can u change a person who’s orientation is only one sided. I find it difficult to handle such situations
Changing an adult?... some of them have lost themselves in their upbringing.
Do you want to write YOUR life off waiting for him to change?
