Fetal age less than the actual age

Hi ALl,

I had my LMP on Nov 4(there is a twist here..I had slight bleeding on Nov 4 night and the proper bleeding started only by Nov 5 Morning.But for all reasons i am giving my LMP as Nov 4 only).

I have an 28-33 cycle and i found i am preggo on Dec 7. Dec 21 i took my US which is supposed to be 6W5D . But the fetal age was 5W2D. Hence the fetal pole and the fetal heart beat was NOT seen. Dr told me it could due to irregular cycle or i would have ovulated late.

She has told me to repeat the scan on Jan 4 to confirm the fetal pole and the heart beat.The EDD has been pushed from Aug 11 to Aug 21.

Friends is this normal?The first trimester is when the baby's vital organs form. So would this have any impact to the growth. This two weeks is just making me GO MAD>

Please advice.

Hi,

Congrats on your pregnancy.

LMP age and gestational age wont match, if you ve had irregular periods.

Dont worry. Wait till next scan. Heart beat cannot be detected at 6/7 weeks in most of the cases. Generally doctors advise for detection of heart beat on or after 8 weeks.

very Early pregnancy scan is carried out to rule out ectopic pregnancies.

Stay positive and calm. Pray well. Everything will be fine.

Hi,

I have got positive pregnancy test last month.But my hcg was 20,000 and after 2 days it was only 21000.Then my doc did vaginal ultrasound it showed 7mm gestation sac(i was 6 weeks by that time but featel was a week late).so she decided to continue hcg.but it dropped to 19000 but progestone was 30.5 and after 2 days again reduced to 12000(hcg).
so again last week they did a ultrasoung on a seperate place for second opinion but they are not updating results im really afraid as i had miscarriage history like this.

i dnt have any pregnancy symtoms other than light guidiness and now im in my 8th week.
i dnt have any miscarriage symptoms.

dear ils pls throw some light.

HUgs to you.. God has a plan for everyone at each point of time.. Considering your hcg values, its really confusing why its going down.. So, now you are in the 8th week, what does your doctor say? Just ask away all that you have in mind and demand for an answer. You should be knowing what's happening,,,.?

got appointment by this thursday ,nurses say they do not know anything about ultrasound result.so I have to wait till thursday.

went to doc office,she told gestation stopped growg same size like previous scan.she told I will miscarry naturally.I have pain on my left smide but no signs of miscarriage,now praying to miscarry safely.and have follow up hcg next week.
last week I prayed not to miscarry now praying to bleed .
im really frustrated of treatments and miscarriages.
God is so cruel to people like me .my cousin aborted a healthy fetus last year cos of her hubby.why gid is giving to such dont want.
