Fenugreek For Increasing Milk Supply

    Fenugreek Leaves For Breast Milk Yes! Nursing Mothers will Get Enormous Benefits from Fenugreek Leaves, If they Include them in their Diet. You can Prepare Soup from these Leaves for Increasing Breast Milk .


    A Bowl of this Soup is very filling & highly Nutritious. It can be Taken often.
    1) Take 1/4 tsp of Cumin Seeds, 2 Pods of Garlic Cloves & 1/2 tsp of Pepper Corns. Coarsely Make a Powder of them in a Pestle.
    2) Heat a half tsp of Ghee in a Pan & add Powdered Spices to it. Fry in a Very -low flame

    3)Then add finely Chopped Shallots & fry till it turns little Brown. Now Add of Cup of Chopped Fenugreek Leaves and fry.
    4)Add Boiled Toor Dal Water (Water thats got after boiling Toor Dal with Turmeric Powder) into it & Allow to Cook.
    5) Once the Leaves are Fully Cooked, add a Pinch of Salt. Switch off then & Serve.

    Note – If you Want, you can add 1/2 tomato.

    Fenugreek Tea is very beneficial for Nursing Mother and diabetic Patients. You Know, What..? Fenugreek seeds are very Very effective in curing a disease called Beri Beri caused due to deficiency of Vitamin B.
    Drink the tea daily till there is sufficient breast milk to feed the baby.
    More Over, THis tea helps to Ease labor in Preggies.

    How To Prepare Fenugreek Tea
    Ingredients

    • Fenugreek Seeds – 1 tbsp
    • Water – 1 cup


    Method

    1. Add Fenugreek Seeds in the boiling Water and keep allowing them to boil for ten Minutes.
    2. Let allow the seeds steep in water for about 2 More hours.
    3. Then Strain and Have it either Hot or Cold.

    Yes, fenugreek helps big time!!
    I was told to just soak the fenugreek in water overnight and eat it along with water. For some reason, right after I gave birth it didn't taste bitter and I ate it up. It does give result.

    HI,
    If fenugreek leaves are not available, then can fenugreek seeds be soaked in water at night and then consumed in the morning as a first thing going into the stomach ?

    Yes, right after giving birth this helps. On some days, I ate at night too.

    is there any measure for the fenugreek seeds????n till hw many days...?

    I didn't measure, Maybe 2-3 teaspoons.
    It's difficult to say for how many days..I ate until 6 months.
