Feeling Bad I Am Unable To Find Neurologist Nearby

My Dad has been having dizziness and numbness in arms and hand for past month.

He attributes it to even worse insomnia.

Now he finally told me he wishes to see Neurologist (still have to follow up on recent Gastroenterologist and Urology appointments)

Today I looked through my Insurance directory and called the Doctor office to confirm they are at the location.

I was told that Doctor is no longer there.

Yet the Insurance directory says they update info every 5 days.

You mean to tell me within 5 days several Neurologists changed their phone numbers and addresses?

And Neurologists (let alone board-certified) are tough to come by ..... is Neurology a difficult Residency to get into?

I'm just feeling frustrated and sick to my stomach that I am unable to help my Dad.

And now, things at work are hectic because a software I manage went down and had to be reinstalled, which is a lengthy, time-consuming, and costly process. I followed procedures and did due diligence, the consulting company gave bad guidance.

And if I do something relaxing like painting during lunch hour, I feel guilty that I am not helping my Dad.

I know we create our circumstances due to our bad karmas. Wish I knew of better way....

You are doing your best..
Stop punishing yourself with guilt. I believe a care taker needs a lot of positive vibe to carry on with the work. And most of all,you should reward yourself once in a while for handling so many difficulties..Grant yourself some treat even if the universe fails to do so.

one neurologist who's next opening is 3 months away
one neurologist who is available 3wks from now
one neurologist who is open upcoming Friday the 13th

certainly one of them will have early cancellation.

I feel bad that my Dads pain is excruciating (for past 6 weeks)

It's worse when he is trying to sleep ... the pain keeps him up.
