Hi friends,
my DD doing k2 @ Saradha had fancy dress competition last week with the topic "Famous People " - so i decided her character as Jhansi ki Rani.
Her performance was awesome and she has won the first prize !. To add , it must be tittled as jhansi rani fancy dress because out of 42 children 10 were dressed up as Jhansi ki rani !!
The brighter chance for my DD , apart from her modulation, dialogue delivery was the costume.
She was dressed up as Rani ridding on horse, with 2 legs hanging on both the sides, and the turban, sword, warsheild and "The Baby Prince" behind her . All the costumes were rented from a freelancer at bedok here itself who is offering a variety of costumes like animal , vegetable, vivekanandhar, bharathiyar, chef costume, indian also egyptian king/queen, superman, batman, disney princess like cynderella,aurora,jasmine etc..and a lot more...

She also has bharathanatyam dress. Wonderful.

Thought this message could help some one whoz loking for fancy dress for parties, getogather / competition.

Congraturlations to you and your DD. My DD is also in Sharada. This time they have GODS and GODESSES as the topic for fancy dress. Was looking for the dresses. Could you please guide me where i can rent/buy the indian GODS and GODESSES dresses.
