Famous Sikh Temple, Dukh Nivaran Sahib, Patiala, Punjab

This holy shrine is very famous for its divine strength. It is said that if you have any kind of sorrow in your life, you must visit this place. If one takes a dip in the holy water of the Gurudwara, all the sorrows and diseases vanish. There used to be a pond hundreds of years ago at the same place. The pond was blessed by one of the Sikh Gurus, Guru Teg Bahadur Ji, when people of the village(now part of Patiala) who were suffering from a deadly disease, asked him to help them cure.It was then, when Guruji blessed the place.
