Re: Exhibhition in Quaid-e-milleth college for women Ya yesterday I visited the expnly 10 min walk from LIC bus stop.There were some nearly 60 stalls.dresses from states Madhya pradesh,uttar pradesh,andhra,orissa,kashmir were exhibhited.Handbags from Gujarat were also displayed.They are very nice,we cant see such kind in T.nagar.Our own cooptex has 2-3 stalls.dresses from other places in TN like Erode,chinnalapatti etc are also present.compared to buying in shops they are cheap.All dresses are very nice.In addition bed sheets,bed spread,pillow covers ,mats are also present.I bought 3 churidhar materials.If u visit this place u would really take something home,very nice,really worth buying............

I am planning to visit today 1'st Jan 2010, and also may visit on 3'd since I see that in the event list Padmashri Kamalhasan is participating that day. Re: chennai book fair 2010 Anudhivi, I went to the exhibition.Good,not too crowded as I went at 2.30 P.m. You can get lots of embroidery and design books in Aasha Publications stall.
Re: chennai book fair 2010 I visited the Book Fair yesterday. There was crowd but ok, not much. This time they the fair is only upto 10th of Jan. Had it been till after the pongal holidays, it would have been good. But the parking problem is so great and the stuffiness inside is also too much. They could change the venue to Chennai Trade centre, there is lots of space for parking and also they could have spacious stalls and enough room for people to walk also. I wish the organisers will think about it.
