there is an exhibition going on in the Co optex complex in Egmore, Thillayadi Valliyammai is the name of the building. Textiles from all states is on sale and display even now.

Hi Arch,
there is a shop in Alwarpet, when you go from Music Academy go over the bridge and then straight, I think it is after the Community Hall in Alwarpet. It is on the left side when you go this way, it is called Just Jute. They have so many things, I saw while passing thro twice.

pLEASE checkout the sale at Das Community Centre opposite chola sheraton,cathedral road there is a sale of export quality akoba work sareees and dress materials in materials like swiss voile,organdy,chiffon and plenty other too,I cant go now atleast if I hear feedback I can send my mom.

Hakoba sale at Dass community hall is too good to miss,you will really get confused,they had so many pretty colours and I took one in peach,green,purple,pink,they are priced at 575/- without dupatta and 695/-with dupatta,sale till march 31.

Dass Community Centre is opposite Chola SHeraton,Cathedral Road.It is in Nungambakkam.Go to that area and ask somebody they will guide you.
