    1. Household chores are not "wife's day to day activities." They are the day to day activities of both husband and wife.
    2. Husband does not "help" wife, he just does his share.
    3. When child is sick, husband or wife take leave depending on their work situation that day/week, there is no rule that only mother has to take leave from office.

    typical "womens jobs" are the most underrated and most poor paid. the reason why women make less in other industries is because they don't usually have someone having their back and thus get to spend less time on the job then their male counterparts, putting in less work that way or "delivering" less.
    in high end jobs, it is crucial to put in more time in the job then having other problems to worry about.
    that's why in many cases one partner opts to go for that high end career and the other stays home. and sometime it is the lady that works and the gentleman that cares for the kids. but those are the exceptions and not the norm.
