    Hai Meghanshu,

How are you now/ Have you started the treatment? Did you take a second opinion from another doctor? Which doctor are you consulting? I am also in Ellicott city. Searching for a good OB/GYN. Please give me your doctor's contact details, if you don't mind. I am not happy with my doctor. It is going to be 4months since I delivered my baby and bleeding has not stopped still. And my doctor thinks it is normal in people who breastfeed - I do not believe this. So share your experiences.

    Amitha

    Hi Meghanshu,

Very sorry to hear about your problem. Maybe it would be a good idea to consult another doctor who specialises in this sort of treatments. A different doctor may have another approach to your cure.

Most importantly, dont lose heart. You will definitely get well. As Ashritha said, she is fully cured now and is also planning on starting a family. God willing, once you are well enough, you too may be able to have another kid.

I am sure the IL family will also pray for your speedy recovery !

    Smile :) !!

    Endometriosis

    Hi everyone

I dont know where to start and this is my first thread.Let me tell something about my problem first.I got married 5 years before and conceived naturally after that. But sadly,I have to terminate the baby around 22nd week of pregenancy because the baby had some serious issues. That's when it all started.I was asked to rest for a year and then we started to trying for the baby again. But we are not in luck till now.So they did all those test neccy and every thing was normal. Then I had my First IUI ,during which the doctor doubted that I may have Endometriosis.we did the IUI but it was not successful. Now I had my lapracopy and dye test last week and they found some tissues in my ovary which are removed in the process.
    These are my questions now::

1.My stiches are supposed to dissolve, but havent. Is it normal??
2.How long shd I wait before trying again for a baby??
3.Is there a chance of natual conception after this??
4.If nothing happens Shd I try IUI or IVF?

Hope Iam not putting along lots of question. Please Please help

    Cheers
    Victory

    Re: Endometriosis

    Hi Victory,

I really dunt know how to express!! my situation is also some what similar to yours of course with some difference. I have conceived 3 times in the past, but the pregnany did not last for more than 2.5months, married for 6 years now.
I changed my gynec 2 years back cos i thought the earlier gynec did not have any explanation to natural termination of pregnancy though she administered lot of medicines in form of tablets and injections during these times. The new gynec I met is very very reputed in Bangalore, so with all the anxiousness to conceive we approached her, she pointed need of laproscopy. With new hopes, I did undergo laproscopy (this is dated 2 years back) when most of my relatives and friends opposed this minor insertion of scope followed by a small corrections inside. But in vain, i have not conceived after this. Till today I feel guilty, die within, cry ....just thinking that i shud have listened to the advises of relatives and friends, Probably i wud have conceived again for full term.

    1. I suggest you go back to your gynec and ask her why these stitches are not dissolved & how long will it take? Usually takes 15-20 days.

2.3.&4 - Please advise when you get some convincing answers.

I will wait to hear until then!! Take care and Best Wishes always! You may write to me any time either on this thread or madhu1029@gmail.com
    at your convenience.

    Re: Endometriosis

    Hi madhu

Thanks for the reply and information.Sorry about whats happened to u and happenning to u.Please dont lose hope.Always keep faith in god.
I should say nothing progressed for me right now.As u know its been only 10days for me after the opertion now.I have a appt to remove the stitches next week.Hopefully it shd dissolve by itself by next week.
As u know Its not easy to speak with doctors here so have to wait for 3 more months before I see the doctor again. They are giving me a rest time to recover after the operation. So will keep u updating as and when I know.
Before leaving, one more quick question. My period cycle date is delayed after the operation.Do u think this is normal?DO u by any chance remember what happened to u(I know its long time now but still)

    Keep in touch

    Cheers

    Re: Endometriosis

    Thanks for replying!!

Not sure abt the delay in getting P but thinking that loss of blood wud definitely delay the cycle.
All the best. Keep me posted on any information available which can be of help.

I would also share if i learn something new in the process............
