    Dear Cheeniya,

    Cricket game is like that and the Indian fans are also highly emotional. So, what you say is true that they would have skinned Yuvraj if India had lost. I remember similar thing happend with Chetan Sharma when Javed Miandad hit the last ball sixer of him to beat India at Sharja. But, Chetan Sharma came back and produced an incredible hat-rick at Nagpur against the Kiwis in the 1987 World Cup. The hat-rick is unique in that all three wickets were bowled out and in each ball each different stump was uprooted.

    Oh yessss! I do remember those two great matches! The first one which made Chetan getting clouted by Javed in the last ball thereby giving the Pakistanis the coveted cup was unbelievable! Javed became an icon in his country with that one timely hit!

    Atlast the Men in Blue had come to the expectations of more than 1 Billion people..... Dravid should be very happy man.

    The last over controlling the runs and winning the match, the only Indian who has done is Kapil Dev..... in a match where it is 6 runs from the lost over and he conceeded only 3 runs and took a wicket..... I dont remember any other....

    We hope that the Men in Blue will win the last match also.....

    I remember Sachin doing a similar thing against the mighty Australia in Chennai. If I rember right the match ended in a tie!

    Yes i agree with u, one must learn to take defeat gracefully.As u rightly say, in a contest, one has to win and many others lose,thats part of the game.


    Look in School.in a class of say 40 students, only 1 can come first ? Should the others commit suicide.Why not congratulate the fellow,he must have worked hard, while the others may have been wasting their time elsewhere.Why not give the Devil his due, sri ?
