    Hi Folks
I m attaching a designer piece - anarkali, made from a punjabi suit material. I jumbled up the material for the top. Can you guys guess how the original material would ve been and what crazy thing i did to it. For a change we are going retrospective. Let us ve some fun! :hiya
PS - Bottom is a normal chudi with the pink border.

    Hi Vastra,

Beautiful dress. mmmmmmmmmm.... let me guess. But i am a batcha in this field. The yellow part is the upper side with the round design for neck. I think the side two pink designs are sleeves. The pink portion must have been the broad border .(please don't laugh at my guess)

    Hi Vasthraa,

Nice dress and I feel the jumbled outcome is amazing. One of the options is given by Sabitha. My guess is :
    1. The round is originally the back portion, the bodice portion formed the middle panel in the original material and the 2 side panels would be for the sleeves.

    2. Have you by any chance used the material from the dupatta for the top bodice?

Hope I come somewhere close .................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hi Vasthraa,

If my guess is right, then I get the Design I asked for? Can I plz?

I think, the pink portion used for the bodice is from the bottom of the original fabric which forms like border and the round may be from the centre portion usually the neck or any one motif scattered above the border portion of the original fabric usually meant to form the front.:bonk

else, I will go with Sunitha(then I dunt get the design pattern).:spin

For a minute i was scared - is it Manik Batch "naan oru thadavai sonna nooru thadavai sonna mathiri"

sabitha, though you are a batcha, your guess is almost right. The only person i laugh @ is MYSELF. So dont worry. Wait a while for the answer.
