Hats off to all of you who have worked on these wonderful patterns.They are excellent.Pls keep uploading all such beautiful works in future also.Me and my sister are very much interested in hand embroidery.These patterns
and ideas will definitely help us a lot.My sister is currently working on a churidhar.Will post it as soon as its done.

today i saw ur embroidery works it's excellent . i am intrested in fabric painting & embroidery work . nenu malli ok sari na hobby ki brush up iddamu anukuntunanu , me work chala bagundi . naku okate doubt ippudu saree tisukunte colour combinations ela set cheyali .please help me.

Kamal Kadai Embroidery

Hi everyone,

Recently I came across an embroidery work called Kamal Kadai, a traditional work from Andhra Pradhesh. I would like to know more about this and if anyone has done this work, please post in some pictures.

thanks your ur comments... In chudi i have done aari work(its nothing but chain stitch with some special needle(it looks like the one used for stitiching slippers))

Varudhinigaru asked me to give details regarding the stitches been used... forgotten to do so...

I have done with chain stitch for flowers and leaves and running stitch for connecting string....

Hi I am learning hand embroidery for last 6months.
I also know about kutch work,kamal work&kasuthi work.
I know the method of aari work, but i am not practice. How can I learn it?
Is it possible with embroidery ring or any form of method?Pl.inform me:wave

I am interested in doing emb works, hav done hand emb on pillow covers, mach emb on bag,table cloth. But yet to try on saree/salwar.
Where do u get the design for the same. Would like to more about it.
And the one u hav shown is it machine or hand emb?

This is my first day in this forum. When i was browsing my favourite thread like embroidery, I was totally taken aback to see your collection. Myself and my mom do a lot of embroidery and we wil share soon. Definitely this forum would be a great place to exchage our views and get motivated by other's work too.

Dear varudhinigaru,

I have done few sarees as well as on chudis. I make my own design, trace them with our typical carbon tracing and then do the embroidery. Do u do cot embroidery or with a normal embroidery frame.
