    Hi Shailaja and Sakidran,

You are welcome. Shailaja, try 1st on matty and once you have mastered the design then use the net. I will incorporate the net method a little later here. You can work on cotton or silk but since the effort is a lot, silk is a better medium as it is longlasting. Post yr work as I am looking fwd to it

    Regards
    Jayashree

    Hi Jayashree,

I have been following this thread and find it very good, with clear instructions. I have learnt Kasuthi too and have done it on one of my kurthi. I will post it some time.

I see that you are from Bangalore. I am basically fromB'lore but live in Chennai. Where do you live in B'lore? May be we can meet sometime when I come to B'lore. I will be very excited to do so.

Bye and keep up the nice work.

    Cheers,
    Sunitha

    Yes Jayashree

That is what I thought too. It is easier on matty. But I think I will try on Matty cloth (not the stiffer Bakram Variety which has got bigger holes. That way I can cut the pieces and use as Borders or pattches or yokes to my kurta, blouse or saree. Or I will Keep it as a Sampler.
Wow! Thanks for the idea. I will try and post at the earliest.

    Hi Shailaja,
I meant that you use matty for the sampler and then do it on plain fabric using net. If you use matty for the yoke, your work will not look as delicate.
