Embroidery done by my Mother-in-law

    Dear Friends,

    These embroidered table cloths were done by my mother-in-law 40 years ago...........one of the Peacock and the other with border work.........which she handed over to me for safe keeping as I love embroidery...............now it adorns our music system.

    Awaiting your comments and feedback to pass it on to her over the phone.......

    So cute...My granny too has done similar works which we are safe-guarding like anything..in those days, .any pillow cover or screens or covers will be having an embroidery work of her :wink:

    woww this is the embroidery..so neat, so perfection, so nice colours..tooo gud...:bowdown:bowdown to ur MIL..u r lucky to have such a talented MIL...
    My Moms friend had gifted the one like in hte last picture to my mom some 30 yrs back...Sudha could u share some other embroidery of hers..definitely we ahve to learn a lott frm our elders...

    Madhu the orange flower is buttonhole stitch stitched with bit variation..u can find how to stitch this in my blog..
