    Myself and meyyammai got together & learnt textile screen printing for the past two days at choolaimedu. It is very nice course & we enjoyed it very much. will post the pics soon.

    hi archana.......raja thread house is not conducting it archanah academy in choolaimedu is conducting it inno.26 manoj villa zackharia main rd, it is good they finished one course on april1st and 2nd myself and vidhya(vidhu29)attended it and we had real fun they are having their next classes on april 4th and 5th in ther same venue u can try that......ph.no 9994124589:cheers

    Wow!! Thts lovely. Can u post details of the course? What all was taught? How many teachers/students? Pictures of the things that you did? What all kinds of printing did you learn? Costs? Gees, I am so so excited! Thanks a lot Meyammai and Vidhya! You both are angels! And yes - I will call that number. I wont be able to attend this week, going out of town! :-(

    Just spoke with them!! Archanah Academy - Kodambakkam - Class on 4th and 5th - Fees - Rs. 750!! We will learn all techniques of printing, and after that he says we can run our own unit! Meyammai and Vidhya - Dying to see the pics!! Please post soon :)

    I am uploading some pic of the class we attended.
    the first is the master giving a demo.
    apart from the regular single color & multi color motifs we were impressed by the second one i.e colored photos!

    Hi andal,
    we were not "block printing" It is "screen printing". Yes you can print any photo but preparing the screen will cost you a little over 1000/- since you need 4 screens for 1 pic.
