Egg-dhal masala: Ingredients: Egg - 4 (boiled) onion - 2 tomato - 2 Bengal gram - 1/2 cup (boiled and mashed) ginger-garlic paste - 1 tsp turmeric powder - 1 tsp garam masala - 1 tsp dhaniya powder - 1 tsp chilli powder - 1 tsp saunf seeds - 1/2 tsp cinnamon - 1 piece cloves - 2 bay leaf - 1 oil and salt to taste. Method: Heat oil in a kadai and season with saunf, cinnamon, cloves and bay leaf. Add chopped onions and saute till golden brown. Add ginger garlic paste and turmeric powder and a little of water and stirr well. Then add choped tomato and all masalas. add a cup of water and make it to boil. Finally add mashed dhal, boiled egg (make it to 4 pieces) and salt. Garnish with coriander and serve hot with naan, parota or veg pulao. regards karthiga.
