    Hi ilites
    A moderate earthquake of magnitude 5.4 struck LA..

    Myself and my son were at home (first floor) I felt the earthquake for abt 20 secs..TV and furniture were actually swaying form side to side..I wa ssoooooo scared that i carried my son and ran downstairs..OMG twas soooo frightening..all the ppl in our apt came out of our apt complex and we were scared to go inside our building..

    Still im shaking...

    Dear Ramya,

    Glad you are all safe...keep praying and thank GOD !! Sure, it is scary..when I was living in bay area...there was a slight earth tremor at midnite (which I didn't feel at all) for a few seconds...

    Just now saw the news ...looks like there is not much structural damage too...

    Hi,
    I did not feel anything because of the quake. But my hubby told (working in the same
    city) They felt the tremors and their office building was shaking. They came out from
    the office building. He called me and told about the quake. I was very much scared
    and what I will do with my daughter.
