My 5 yr daughter has been loosing the back screw of the gold earrings since she was a toddler. she hardly touches her earrings, but some how the gold screw ( Madras/southindian type) falls off. I would like to hear from other moms in this forum as what can be done for same. And If any artificial replacement are available in market.

Try Ring for sometime. It wont fall off. Otherwise try the north indian screw. Its fixes more tightly.

Dip the screw in nail polish and put it. But you can't change it often. I have tried it and it works

Cut small squares or round shapes from an erasers (the one children use) and use that piece of eraser as a push button for earrings.
