Dressing style Suggestions required

    Hi folks,

    Can anyone suggests me some nice Indian dress styles for short height ( 4'11'') ? Wedding Dress, Casual Wear and dresses to wear while visiting relatives.
    Punjabi Dresses are most prior.Cant wear pure western, Jeans can be combined with some Indian outfit if it will suit. Please suggest something (with images if possible).

    Thankyou for your reply dear, But can tunics be combined with some indian stuff like salwars ?

    and What about Long Skirts with heels ? Will they look good on me ?

    Hi Dear,

    knee length Skirts goes well with pointed heels, if not wedges are comfortable.

    If you would like to go for Indo-western style, Jeans with sleeveless kurta mostly preferrable.

    Go mostly with nude color pointed shoes, that goes with jeans too.

    These are some casual wear looks.

    Be confident that will elegant your looks.

    Sleeveless kurta with jeans yes possible..

    Knee length skirts in a small town will not let me feel comfortable, people stare like hell here, Even if you are in a salwar suit with dupatta wrapped up on your head , people will stare then also.. :rant

    So I will go with the Indo-western combo of kurta and jeans with heels, I am fine with wedges, do wedges look fine with jeans and leggings also ?

    I think pencil fit jeans and churidars or leggings without too much gathering will look really good.
    Long tops can make the legs appear shorter. So wearing a kurti above knee or even mid thigh length with jeans or a churi, teamed with heels will the perfect. If you can manage walking in pencil heels, it will be great, otherwise wedges should suit jeans just fine.
    I have read that wearing the same colour top and bottom gives a taller appearance as opposed to multiple colours and designs. Opting for vertical stripes will give a taller look, horizontal stripes are to be avoided. Hope you find this helpful! Look gorgeous whatever you wear! :)

    Hello, well for a short height there are many option availbale.. For a wedding or relative's wedding you can anytime go for Beautiful lehnega choli, go for cool punjabi suit chudidar is more preferable than patiala as in patialas you will look shorter.

    Hi,
    You should not wear short dresses. Try something bit on the longer side with vertical stripes or self patterns. Heels would be perfect for those crucial inches you lack. Be confident, that's most important.... :)
