This is a multi-center prospective cohort study carried out in Canada by a single sonographer at both 6 weeks gestation and 18 to 20 weeks gestation on 5376 fetuses for various from 1998 to 2007.

There are a number of ultrasound examples on the web at multiple pregnancy related forums and I am just creating this topic as I found no discussion about this study or fetal cfDNA anywhere on IL and hence this thread.

• Fetal Age: 6 ~ 8 Weeks or 18~20 weeks
• US Type: Transvaginal or Transabdominal
• Placenta Location: Left or Right (true transverse* needed)
• Actual Gender: Boy or Girl (either from fetal cfDNA blood test / later US scans / post delivery)

P.S: I am a dad-to-be and just curious to know the IL's take on this study. My wife is already in her third trimester and we are looking forward to a healthy baby irrespective of the gender
