Dr.Geetha Haripriya Vs Dr.Samundi Sankari

Hi everyone,

Has anyone recently undergone IVF with Dr.Samundi Sankari of shrushti hospital?
I'd appreciate any kind of input.

Just a feedback about both Shrusthi and Prashanth since this thread is about the doctors in both hospital.

Two years back I went to Shrusthi for consultation but I did not get to meet Dr Samundi. I met a gyane whose name I cannot remember. I showed all the reports I had taken in Apollo two days earlier. The doc was not satisfied and asked me to get another hormonal report done. I didn't want to as I felt I had taken all the tests I needed to take in Apollo. So I told her I didn't want to and she asked me not to get into IVF instead take some medication and see if it works.

Overall, I was not convinced nor impressed with Shrusthi.

As for Prashanth, I have not been there but a friend had a successful first ivf cycle there. Twins too! Twins are now almost 2 and she conceived naturally again! She just gave birth to a girl. Though her cycle was successful she was not satisfied with the treatment there. She said the same thing many have been saying in this forum, cycles are processed in batches. No personal care, you are just treated like a number. Long waits too, I guess this is the case of almost all "good" fertility centres in Chennai.

So whichever clinic you see people promoting here or in other websites please be cautious. Do your own research and try to differentiate with real experiences and promotional ones. Go to few clinics and see what fits you best before finalising one centre.

Dr Samundi Sankari is a Doctor who is money minded... when I went for treatment to her she was not even aware of how many embryos were transferred. Her daughter who is working with her doesn't even know which injection has to be given and which should not be... they didn't even give me discharge sheets after the process only when I demanded they gave it... she doesn't know the value of even time... she makes the patient to wait till afternoon 2 to meet her... the hospital does not have any facilities... even the bathrooms were without water... the worst hospital I have seen and her team of employees are not well qualified too... they gave me anesthesia which made me to come to my senses only by next day.. the worst hospital I have been too

 

Hi...I'm planning to start treatment with Dr.Samundi. Was your treatment successful? So confused about choosing the right place as these days everywhere it's the same....if you don't mind, can you mail me personally and share your experience in detail.

For the women on the thread who are desparately seeking advice - please realize that 1 or more posters on this thread are basically giving fake feedback and are actually promoting certain doctors.

Both samundi and geetapriya are as bad or as good as each other - which is to say they are highly money minded operating on the fears/hopes of women while offering them little to no guarantees. Even the minimum expected quality treatment they should be giving in exchange for the money they take is absent. Customer service is non existent. What better can you expect when the medical field is so corrupt & commercialised ? If you must take treatment go to a place you have a personal equation with a fertility doctor.. even if they dont have fancy waiting rooms. Or take the advise of a doctor you trust and select the right fertility specialist. Do not blindly trust the testimonials you read online.
