Hi Lakshmi, Welcome to IL and to Doha.......... Hope you enjoy being a part of this wonderful family and have a good time while you're on IL.... Am sure, some of the ladies, who have better idea about Beauty Parlours in Doha, would be able to give you better suggestions than me. Regarding some good restaurants in Qatar, please refer to this thread below. There are some postings about some good south-iIndian restaurants in Doha. http://www.indusladies.com/forums/indians-in-qatar/17350-hotels-restaurants-in-doha.html Check them out and relish some good south-indian food.... Wishing you good time in IL and hope to see your more in IL.
Hello Preethy, Thanks for the reply and directing me on things. Can you give me an idea of what activities children have here in dohaduring their vacations?
All indian ladies in doha Hello all, My name is Lakshmi and i hail from kochi in kerala. I have been in doha only for a month. As far as i have seen doha is a good place and lots of indians too. As of the children in doha, i find that they do not have much activities to go by. And that all the coaching class ask for an exorbitanant fee too. Excuse me i might be wrong because have not been here much. I would like all of u whoever can, suggest some good places for physical activity for kids where mothers themselves can take them. And also vacation classes, or summer camps which can be attended by the kids. IF at all there are tution teachers available, would also be happy to know that. As of me i am quite unable to provide any information for anybody as am a newcomer. So i request all of you to help me to share your knowledge with me. Thaking all of you, LakshmiBow
Re: All indian ladies in doha Hai Lakshmi, I am Gowri from Tamil Nadu , I am taking Abacus Class in my home if u r intrested in sending ur children, u can contact me , Thank you
Hi Laxmi, Welcome to Doha. There are summer time activities for children here. How old are your children? The summer camps details would be published in news paper too (Gulf times). Some of our friends would also be sending their kids for such camps. best wishes, Bala Sri
