    This gives me sad sweetness

    We hear many bad things, esp here in IL about In-laws

    few years I misjudged a nice soul like this and was very rude (we were doing matrimonial alliance for his son but I decided I didn’t like son without meeting him)

    then I used an email address I was entrusted with to speak rudely to him

    person never contacted back, but bad things started happening (failing certifications), and of course being in nightmare marriage with someone whom I thought was angel (lonely planet at hospital due to miscarriage, police stations, attorney offices, courtrooms)

    only now nearly 10 years later (a month ago) I realize I must ask, does his kindness touch my heart? ❤️?

    If I would have had this wisdom back then,
    1- I would have helped a similar kind hearted soul do good in the world
    2- I would have avoided needless pain and suffering
    3- My family wouldn’t be so worried

    I hope I am not being a Debbie downer (I don’t intend to beat myself up, I just want to acknowledge things that happened so I can be better in future) but this was a beautiful story

    may we have opportunity (and the realization) to do good in this world

    Pakoras with coffee is nice

    bur it is dosa, sambar and ildi that are warm and nourishing throughput life

    True. Evening refreshments add to luxury while morning meal or brunch items are nourishing.
    Coffee first in the morning is laxative and subsequent dozes in varying measures are Luxorious.
