    You need to get last 6 months bank statement. And get a letter from the bank stating the following details:
    A/c Name:
    Date of A/c opening:
    Current Balance:
    Average Balance:

    Hello Ladies,

    I have booked apt for my Parents in Mumbai consulate, the problem is i have got them hindi Apt since my parents don't follow english. But i m concerned abt Hindi language too...coz since we are tamilians ,my parents are not that fluent in Hindi too...

    Will the Consulate officers be helpful ....anybody having idea pls advice me.

    Thanks for your information.

    I have 1 Question. My In-laws , both will appear for the interview at the same time. So Do We need to send separate documents for both - like Bank statement, pay stub, etc other than DS-156.. One copy enough for both?

    Yes Pinky we have sent all the Docs, she is going thru' a travel agent so he is helping her in arranging everything.

    Definitely I will post once she is done.

    My mil got her visa. Since she is working they have asked only 2 Q

    1. Where r u working?
    2. How many yrs of service?

    Gave her visa. She is very happy.

    Am going to apply for my parents...My dad is a central government employee. Do we need a N.O.C from his office for the visa ?
