Do You Share Your Financial Details With Your Kids?

10 yrs is too young to give away that kind of private information.
My plan is to wait till they are 18 yrs old at least.
You can open a small account for him and help him understand the concept of savings etc.

 

I tell my kid what kind of things we can afford and cannot. I give her some examples that allows her to understand the ballpark idea of the financial situation. It is always tricky, But we always talk about money, it doesn't have to be any age. Keep it simple for them and also honest.
