Do you guys believe in the concept of Drishti/nazar?

Oh my tell me about it .. I really believe in this stuff especially when it comes to my kids ...
Initially I was very very hesitant to put up my kids pics in fb but later on just gave up and started uploading pics of them obv people will comment but I realized the very next day my kids would feel unwell . So I have stopped uploading any recent pics .
The very fact I have twin kids with a perfect combination is enough to bring out the negative aura of certain people."dont compare your life with others you have no idea what their journey is all about "..

Naksh may not be joking this time.Remember i told you my MIL removed drishti with red chillies and sea salt.
She had put it in a piece of paper and then put on the gas to burn.She told me if the smell comes then theres no drishti.But believe it or not i coud not smell anything.
Red chillies burning without smell...dont think i am joking.I saw it happening in front of my eyes.So yes it could be true.

 

even i want to want to know how to remove dhrishti or evil ward..

usually i use salt and rotate clockwise and put in the running water in sink..

I also believe it bcos whenever we feed my kid in front of one cousin, she will fell sick the immediate day.. first i thought it was coincidence but then it happened 4 to 5 times..

I will never ever feed my daughter in front of him as he always keeps staring the plate and ask me oh.. she will eat these? that?

Once incident happened to me when I was younger. I suddenly spiked a high fever after coming from outside. Our maid servant said that I have got "buri nazar" from someone and that she would remove it. Since she was pretty adamant about it my mom let her do it. She had been working at our place for quite many years and was well known to us.

She took a vessel some chillies and paper and burnt it and yes the chillies did not smell and I did not cough even after all the smoke that was there. Surprisingly my fever came down without any medications and I was walking about whereas minutes before it was difficult for me to even sit due to bodyache and fever.

Please do reply to my query about black thread coming off again and again inspite of tying it in two or three knots.

 

It happens with the black threads.Its because they are nylon threads.
So what you can do is take a candle just burn and press the edge of the thread this way the thread edges will bond into one.tried and tested.

 

I do believe in nazar/evil eye.The effect of an evil eye is true.

Nazar is that when one looks at something beautiful or good and becomes envious of it.

So everytime I'm hurt, angry or cry because of my inlaws it will affect them? Well I do really hope they feel the affect there and then so that soon they realize it's the result of hurting me. :rotfl

How long does the baby has to have the thread around his/ her waist?
Can it be removed once they turn 1?

 

But Yumna I think even those who don't envy or have no bad intention could cause evil eye. Sometimes person A can be evil eye for everyone or only to person B.

 

i don't know about burning a cloth, but my mom's frien had removed my drishti after i had fallen sick right after my birthday, and she had used red dried chillies.
she said if while burning they don't smell and give out smoke, then there is drishti. there was no smell, so i guess there was drishti.
