Most of us Indian ladies prefer jet black hair but to be frank I do not like the plain black hair. Would rather like to have my hair coloured fashiionably in burgundy shade or brown shade. Some of the ladies do go in for henna to cover their grey hair as well to give that brownish tint. What is your take in this poll topic? All said and done most Indian men would want their wives to have tightly plaited black hair with sweet smelling jasmine flower. Ladies take part in the voting as well as posting your feedbacks.
Adding color to life is ok but to hair further greys it .If ur allergic might cause further problems also therefore always best to leave it as it is for conditioning u cud use a hair pack or have henna which is natural rather than using hair colors which r made of so many chemicals .Hmm as a fashion hair color is fine if u cud either highlight /lowlight ur hair but many times u see a hairfall and maintinaing it is really a pain in neck .My choice be natural
Hai, I do colour my hair- not burgandy or any other colour. Black- to cover up the grey which set in early due to genes. That is to make myself presentable if not beautiful or fashionable. I use the best quality colourant and even if there are some side effects, this had become a necessity now.
I LOVE streaking my hair ...presently my hair is streaked light brown ( i have side parting ) . I find plain black hair dull...my opnion....my hubby supports my colouring ...my parents and INLAWS are against it...my life and i will live it the way I like :2thumbsup:
Hai hippo, these are the fancies of the age, I am sure. Go ahead and enjoy. I used to have very long hair and I have yearned to cut it short in those days. But my mom would not even let me trim it. But now, due to age and other factors, I feel comfortable with shoulder length hair. After all, we cannot cut or colour any other part of our body, except hair and nail. Enjoy!:2thumbsup:
I prefer natural hair color than coloring it or dyeing it for various color tints, say brown, burgundy, etc, which is a razing fashion now-a-days. If one gets grey hair at an early age due to some genetic cause, then one can go for dyeing hair, but otherwise, it is wise to leave it as it is. After 40s and 50s, grey hair gives a respectable look to people (of course, it all depends on one's own opinions ). Let aging come to me naturally. My grandma used to have full white hair which shines like silk and I always loved it (the shine, texture, everything). Again, my sincere advise to my dear friends is do use natural henna instead of chemical dyes as there will be lots of problems and side effects with dyes. Regards Varudhini
