    yeah..i do allow my kid to watch tv while havng hs food..i cant say tat he is got used to it..bt he finishes of hs food even if he doesnt watch tv..so leavng children in their own way nd gettng hold of them wil make wonders..:)

    Yes sometimes i allow my daughter to have meals while sitting in front of tv . Though i know its a bad habit but i sometimes feel helpless when my kid doesn't eat. Actually this is us who start this habit initially. If we don't see TV from the very starting , then kids will not learn this thing. That's why sometimes we are helpless when other member of family wants to see TV and they don't bother that kids are suffering. Kids really don't enjoy the food when they sit before the TV. Instead they are enjoying the shows. This way they never get the taste of food whether it is tasty or not. Kids can develop any taste if eaten joyfully. but if they are not focussing on the taste infront of tv then whom to blame?It doesn't mean the food is not tasty. Good habits can be imbibed in a kid if both the parents take step together. If one wants and other don't bother then kids only suffer and we are helpless. And we have to make them sit before the tv to have atleast their required diet.

    My son is almost 5 now, and quite a bundle of mischief!!:idea So it makes my job atleast 50% easier to have the TV on and feed him his meals!!

    I have 1 year 7 months old son. he will not eat food. he is fussy. that is some time i will turn on TC and make him to watch animal planet or tom and jerry cartoon show so that he can atleast eat littlebit. :bonk

    But i will ensure that he will not adict to TV. Watching Animal Planet make him to recognize animals, right? so i am not bad MOTHER. isnt it....

    usually i dont like to allow them to watch but helpless and the funniest part is i think few do not know even to eat without tv. if the current is gone that is it more than fan kids search tv.and now it is whether i like or not the remote is in his hand
