    Chandra Grahan, Lunar Eclipse, falls on February 11, Saturday, 2017. It starts from 4.04 am and ends by 8.23 am. Maximum of the eclipse occurs at 6.14 am.

    According to NASA, the Chandra Grahan is a Penumbral lunar eclipse. Since it is a penumbral lunar eclipse, it is not visible to the naked eye in India. Hence, this Chandra Grahan is not one of those lunar eclipses considerable for religious activities.
