I would like to share the little bit I know. For rangoli what I normally do is choose a simple pattern and if outdoors make arrangments with either flowers or if indoors make arrangments with legumes and pulses raw form. jus simple but elegant and eye catching. For diyas you could just light small candles like tea candles place it in votive holders so will hold longer. I place the white lunch bag and place tea light candle inside the bag which is filled with little sand. this lasts atleast for a few hours. If placed alongside driveway looks very nice.

In October its time for Diwali, how do you celebrate it?

What kinds of decorations do you put up?
What kind of food are you making/eating?

    Re: Diwali

Thanks for the post. It was very useful.

I was wondering, can someone help me with simple Deepavali puja?
I dont know hindi, can I make my prayers in english?
And here its hard to get indian pujaaccessories and indian food. Anyone knows a internetshop where you can get things like puja accessiories?

    Love, Marie
